Welcome to Myelino! We're excited to help you discover and share amazing travel experiences, connect with fellow adventurers, find great restaurants, and plan hangouts with friends. To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone, we've established these Community Guidelines. By using Myelino, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Service and must accept them before creating or interacting with content.
Be Respectful: Treat everyone in the Myelino community with kindness, empathy, and respect, even if you disagree with their opinions or preferences.
Be Authentic: Share your genuine experiences and recommendations. Help others discover the best of what the UAE (and beyond!) has to offer.
Be Safe: Prioritize your safety and the safety of others, both online and when meeting up in person.
Be Mindful: Understand that Myelino is a diverse community. Be mindful of cultural sensitivities and different perspectives.
Sharing Your Adventures: Post videos, reels, and stories of your travel experiences, restaurant visits, and hidden gems. Inspire others!
Honest Reviews and Recommendations: Provide genuine and constructive feedback about places you've visited.
Creating and Joining Groups: Connect with like-minded individuals, plan trips, and organize hangouts.
Engaging Positively: Comment, like, and share content in a way that uplifts and adds value to the community.
Respecting Local Culture and Laws: Be mindful of and respect the local customs, traditions, and laws of the UAE and any other location you are sharing content from or visiting.
To maintain a positive and safe environment, the following are strictly prohibited on Myelino:
Content that promotes, incites, or condones violence, hatred, discrimination, or disparagement against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease, disability, or immigration status.
Targeting individuals with unwanted and offensive comments, threats, intimidation, or insults.
Sharing private information of others without their consent (doxing).
Stalking or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe.
Sexually explicit content, including pornography, nudity (with some exceptions for artistic or culturally relevant contexts, to be determined at Myelino's discretion and in compliance with UAE laws).
Content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors.
Graphic violence or gore, unless it is newsworthy or documentary in nature and appropriately flagged (subject to UAE law).
Promoting, facilitating, or depicting illegal activities, including drug use, manufacturing or selling illicit substances, weapons, and other regulated goods.
Content that violates any applicable local, national, or international laws, including those specific to the UAE.
Sharing deliberately false or misleading information that could cause harm to individuals, groups, or the public.
Impersonating other individuals, brands, or entities in a deceptive manner.
Creating fake accounts or engaging in inauthentic behavior.
Posting repetitive, unwanted, or unsolicited content, comments, or messages.
Promoting fraudulent schemes, phishing, or deceptive commercial practices.
Sharing content that you do not own or have the right to share, including copyrighted material (music, videos, images) and trademarks, without proper authorization.
Content that encourages or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or dangerous acts.
Providing instructions for harmful activities.
Sharing private or confidential information of others without their explicit consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data and your responsibilities.
Group creators and administrators are responsible for moderating their groups in line with these Community Guidelines.
Groups should have clear descriptions and purposes.
Private groups should manage their membership responsibly.
Group creators may be held accountable for repeated violations occurring within their group.
While Myelino aims to connect people for hangouts, your safety is your responsibility. If you choose to meet someone from the Myelino community in person:
Meet in public places, especially for the first time.
Inform a friend or family member about your plans, including who you are meeting, where, and when.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave the situation.
Do not feel pressured to meet anyone.
Myelino uses automated filters and human review to detect and filter objectionable content, including hate speech, harassment, nudity, and violence.
If you see content or behavior that violates these Community Guidelines, please use the in-app reporting tools or contact us at [Insert Myelino Support Email Address Here]. Provide as much detail as possible.
We will review reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action, which may include:
If you believe your content or account was actioned in error, you may have the option to appeal. Information on the appeals process will be provided if action is taken.
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, features, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes. Your continued use of Myelino after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new guidelines.
Myelino operates within the UAE and requires all users to respect its laws and cultural norms. Content should be mindful of public decency and morality as interpreted under UAE law. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations regarding online conduct, defamation, and respect for religion and rulers.
